The microbrewery and the restaurant Brewing House (founded in 1998) is located on the ground floor of a house, bearing the same name, and has a long-term brewing tradition. It was built in 1937 as a residence of the Brewery and Maltster Research Institute and it still is. Next to the standard light and dark lager, the restaurant offers some beer specialties (wheat, sour-cherry, coffee, banana beers and beery champagne) produced in microbrewery that is part of the interior. Besides the brewery, the interior is decorated with set of pictures of both existing and lapsed breweries. You can see also a collection of Czech beer glass and a little museum of brewery engines. Downstairs, you’ll find a place called “Pivovarská šalanda” where guests can entertain themselves with music and singing. Virtually any program can be arranged on agreement. The kitchen offers typical Czech meals and specialties like roast knees. What’s interesting, is that you can get any of the ready-to-serve food anytime you want. There are 140 places for visitors split into 4 areas. In newly-opened brewery club Pivovarský klub you can taste the widest assortment of beers ever found in one Czech restaurant. Based on actual offer, there is up to 200 kinds of beers. On the ground floor you’ll see a functional brewhouse outfit, possibly from the smallest restaurant brewery in the Czech Republic and maybe even in the world.
