Pivovar Eggenberg, a.s.

The Brewery was founded in 1560. It is in the historical center of the town in the Latrán street No. 27. Group of guests can choose a date for tour through the brewery in Czech, German or English language. Group is at least 5 people. When the guests wish, we can arrange for beer degustation during the tour in the brewery restaurant, or 4-beer giftpacks. In addition to excursions, the brewery offers board for big groups (up to 150 boarders) in the restaurant and parking for tour buses. In town there is a lot of tourist attractions – The Krumlov Castle with gardens, historical center, Schielle’s gallery, the museum of waxworks and others. In summer, a lot of musical festivals take place from chamber to baroque music. You can visit a theatre on unique rotating auditorium directly in castle’s gardens. You can also visit the Rožmberk castle or monasteries in Zlatá koruna and Vyšší Brod or take a trip to the Orlík or Zvíkov strongholds. For active rest, there are quality bike-tracks available or you can go down the river Vltava on rafts or other floats. Local agencies in the town will help you with renting bikes or floats.
