Pivovar Černá Hora, a.s.

The Brewery was founded in 1530. It is one of the oldest breweries in the Czech Republic. In 1896, the Agrarian corporation was founded by Father Ševčík. This corporation ensured, that the brewery didn’t perish and production could continue. The corporation today was founded in 1996. During 60-minutes-long tour you’ll visit both historical and modern manufactures (the newly reconstructed brew house from the beginning of this year is beautiful) and you’ll learn everything important about history of the brewery, production of beer and malt. Both cold and hot meals and refreshments are served in newly-built visitors center called Sladovna (Malting Center) including barbecue. Lodging is available nearby depending on particular needs. The brewery currently produces 6 kinds of beer and 11 lemonades from own artesian wells. You can visit lots of cultural and natural monuments nearby––the Lysice and Rájec-Jestřebí castles, to name a few. In Boskovice, you can visit the castle, stronghold, Judaic district and western town. Very beautiful and unique are the Moravian Karst caves. Annually, the Beer Fair takes place in the area of the brewery last Saturday in September. This year, there were 15,000 people visiting the Beer Fair.
